The Policy Studies major has given me the skills that have helped me in multiple ways in my job with Cumberland Consulting Group.  First, all of the Excel skills learned in the major have been so valuable.  I use excel almost every day now, and I can't imagine coming into this job without having this knowledge. Second, the skills I learned working in a group setting have also been key in my success at my new job.  Learning to be a team player while pursuing my undergraduate degree taught me how to work in a group, and being a Teaching Assistant taught me how to lead a group and interact with people I am overseeing. I loved the major, and today I use all of the skills I learned throughout my four years.
